An international trading company based in the Netherlands asked us to develop a new website for them. We developed an all-new version of XMendes, in the Python programming language, and built the site on top of it. The site is multi-lingual and provides extensive capabilities for the administrators to modify the site contents in all three languages. Also, it proved easy to build an entirely different site on the same engine but with a different layout.
This is the site for a student fraternity in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Apart from the simple pages, contact form and picture gallery shown to all users, there is an online community for members of the fraternity, including a forum, a calendar and a billboard-like functionality. The whole site (based on XMendes) is backed by an extensive content management system, which allows for the content and structure of the site to be dynamically altered through the web.
This is a sorority from the same society as the fraternity mentioned below. Using code from similar sites proved to be an extremely easy way to get the site up and running in a very short time frame. Users got their own accounts and a secure permissions framework was provided to make sure only authorized users could access some modules. This site is also hosted by XavaMedia.
Another sorority we helped develop their online presence. While the functionality for this site is pretty much the same as the one below, this site was based on a new version of XMendes which makes use of XSLT for templating. Thus, content and separation are strictly separated in the code, making it easier to reuse code from and for other projects. This makes development still faster!
FORMsys is an advanced web-based information system which lets users input data in a specific domain. It uses an XML representation of forms to guide the user in selecting which data should be submitted in what form, then saves this data into a MySQL database, enabling export to external systems in a later phase.
